Matthew M. Montelione writes about the American past. He has a Master of Arts degree in History from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. His work particularly focused on the tumultuous life of steadfast Long Island Loyalist Richard Floyd IV (1731/2-1791) and was published in Long Island History Journal and Journal of the American Revolution.
